Internet Table-Top Rally Championship 2004-2005
Round 3 - Breckland Rally
Competitor's Comments

Thanks again for your organisation of this competition. This time I found the route quite difficult, but did at least manage to get 10 Routecards completed. It was extraordinary how many times I had to enlarge the map to see necessary detail - and I'm sure it's not just my failing eyesight. I look forward to the final round in March.
Alan Crabtree

Sorry, but this has turned out to be a rather manic month. I haven't even had time to print out the instructions! I probably won't submit any answers this time
David Moore

Thanks Ray I'm afraid I haven't given this TT the time it deserved. Keep up the good work.
Francis Tindall

Very enjoyable as always, found the maths based ones quite easy but took a while to sort out some of the others.
Gavin Rogers

This has been the hardest event so far, you have really made the second part of each section a challenge, not aided by having too new a map. Thanks to those that sorted the sections early and sent in amendments. Well done to Gavin for getting such a good score in early, I hope it didn't dishearten too many people. Thanks for a good event, see you on the next one.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this round - seems about the right level of difficulty for me (that is, easier than previously). I think that I've let myself down by not checking my Route Check answers carefully enough - I'll be interested to see if I've got the route right when you publish it.
John Elkin

Many thanks again for all your hard work and ingenuity! Again I shall be intrigued to find where the route should have gone although I feel I've not done too bad.
Mick Lowe

Yet again, many thanks for a great Table Top.
Mitch Fielding

Can't wait for the Real Tulip and Bone Idle results as I can't work them out at all. Most enjoyable event. Probably away on holiday for the next one but I might even pack the OS map in case of an idle moment....sad...
Richard Scott

Excellent way to display routes using a small section of the map. It seems my plotting is nearly spot on but my eyesight and question answering ability are a touch duff!! Had great fun with this one and was pleased with my place so hopefully with some more careful question answering I may finish higher on the final one. Still can't do the tulip one when I've read the explanation!!!
Sarah Talbot

Thanks for an excellent event which provided hours of head scratching. The idea of the solutions on the marked maps is excellent. Look forward to the next event.

My feeling is that the novice section of this one was the hardest yet of this series and my head is still hurting. That said, while none of our "lot" cleaned it, Dee RL got pretty close. As the next wave of us seem pretty close together, and given that an organisers Utopia must be for one (and only one) competitor to not quite manage to "clean" an event then I have to concede that you've got pretty damn close to hitting the bull with this one.
On a general note, I still dont know whether to rejoice or regret that Crows recent changes of lifestyle seem to have done nothing to straighten that warped and devious section of his mind that works these events out............
Ray, thanks for all of your time and hard work to put on another good event - I'm now going to try and find a dark quiet room until the March 9th.
