As Iain Tullie correctly said:
"I forgot to list on the comments when I answered, I think there are three missing instructions in pt 1:
2nd line, after white +, there should be a white G;
2nd line, after 2 red +'s, should be a red B;
3rd line, after yellow 2, should be a yellow E.
I think it is still quite 'solvable' nonetheless.
