BrO south of Ecclesmachan shows symbols but doesn't appear to cross over anything but has been counted.

46Alan CrabtreeX703246 3 5 9879 66 2 3 7 0979 222 99  Well, I didn't check the answers to this one, as I lost a fair bit of time - first finding out what the numbers of the Eastings were, then going off on a few false trails because some of the directions were a bit dodgy, and finally getting called away for dinner just when I finally got on a roll. However, for rc3, I did count the triangle in GS9879 as 2 YYY junctions (the third is NTR), so making the second of these the most northerly - the next most northerly is the WYY in GS0279. For rc7 I have counted the bridge at 059734, which is apparently over nothing, but does have the bridge symbol. I did not consider the route crossed the bridge over the railway at 055771, bt rather it turned right as it reached it.

83Harry GeorgeX711234127 2 4 9879 66 4 3 7 0979 222 73 RC5. If I started in the layby, then the first RRW is encountered after the start, if not then only 3 RRWs are on route. RC7. The sequence - ESE SSW WNW doesnt seem to work for me. There may be an alternative answer of 9 if the longer route was required. RC10. Does the answer require the last grid line crossed or the finish grid line which is GL99.

86Iain TullieX1001342 3 5 YYY 66 3 3 6 WWW 222 73  RC5 - Could be 3,4 or 5, depending on whether you consider there is/are white(s) obscured by '803' in 0177. Did NOT include RRY leaving start layby, as this was used to define the start location, as per regs. In pt 2, I considered the obscured RRYY junction in GS 0777 as two junctions. If you consider it a x-rds, then the longer alternative route gives an additional BrO so RC7=7. Did not count BrO where you go Y onto W in GS0577, but it could be argued that this should count as the junction is almost on the bridge. RC10 - last GL crossed is 73, finish is AT GL99, so answer is 73 as per regs. It says LAST GL not FINISH GL.

111Peter RobertsonX901438 3 4 wyy 66 4 3 6 www 222 99  RC7) I did not include the bridge at the first junction (SW) since the route does not fully pass over the railway at this point. I did not include the 'extra' bridge in GS0876 since the route seems to require a sneaky LTX under cover of the M9. If the quarry does 'go' then I think that WNW S - ESE would be better as WNW - S S - ESE
113Steve BarberX1001532 3 4 YYY 66 4 3 7 WWW 222 73 Part 2. Something wrong around - ESE SSW but picked it up again with WNW (I hope!). Shortest route through 0874 taken missing 2 possible BrOs RC10. GL73 is the last crossed before finish. Finish on GL99.
