Report from the Organisers

Let's start as usual by congratulating our winners, Colin Hensman (National Championship Event), Keith Briggs (Main Event) and Peter Smith (Beginners Event).

As you can see from the results, this year was one of the closest events ever, with the furthest cleaner rule being used extensively to decide placings.

Numbers in all events were down on last year the biggest drop being in the Beginners, 67/15/36 and whilst the number of returned answer sheets remained the same, 55/12/18 the percentage of returned answers showed a healthy increase, 82/80/50%. The comments included with your answers were very helpful and most welcome. Most people enjoyed the event and liked the format, so we will be retaining the format for future years. Next year will be our 21st event, so watch out for extra awards.
