Not included those where there is a touch of white space touching road (all minimal). H in 3455, T in 3347 and to a lesser extent S in 3153. From last rally, my understanding is either is acceptable

211Iain TullieM10005838 6 2 8,3 154 6 7 8 5 P,H,S,S 108 Bugger! I missed the T of Tumulus in 3347. So RC9 should read P,H,S,T,S. Hey ho! You might give me the benefit of the doubt?! It is a marginal one!! Original comment: RC9 - H of PH in GS3450 just counts, ditto S of Chute Standen in 3153 (this is the second S)

233Dee Rampling LeeE3003739 6 0 38 154 6      I did write 38 as GL but it may be 83 as we reach the 8 before the 3
235Alan CrabtreeM902538 6 2 8,3 154 6 7 8 4 P,S 108 I can only think that the 1 point I have dropped here is due to a difference of opinion on whether a LETTER touches a road edge or not. I carefully checked four more in addition to the P,S that I answered for rc9 - the first H of Hatherdon Ho (GS3450), the H of PH (GS3450), the T of Tumulus (GS3347) and the S of Chute Standen (GS3153). I zoomed the map right up to 1600x. The result was no thinning of the line at the edge of the road in all four cases. I therefore concluded that these should not be included in the list. The full list of LETTERS considered in order was (H),P,(H),S,(T),(S) - rejected LETTERS in brackets ().

Viewed on my printed map they break the black edge of the road, viewed on screen, particularly if zoomed to 200% they don't break the edge. Printer quality will no doubt produce indifferent map reproduction. Enjoyed doding this round, keep up the good work. Francis
