131Shane GlynnM100151041 23 23 23 23 24 27 28 2 2909 6 according to instruction 26 GL = Grid Line (n) with an abbreviation means to provide the Grid Square with the nth occurrence of the requested feature problem is that GLs don't fall in GSs but border multiple squares so I am confused how to answer, choose one of the bordering squares or answer like SHn style question i chose the latter as my answereing style for 7 of the 10 route checks in this section additionally, on route check 8 I answered two to include the yellow to green that occurs immediately prior to reaching the final stop at the spot height - I believe it can be argued both ways to count or not count this Y>G
148Gillian GoodlassM9022832 23 23 23 23 24 27 28 1 2909 6 The instructions say that for questions of type X(n) you want the GS containing the nth occurrence/crossing of X. this doesn't seem to work properly with GL so have given the answers as the GL at the nth crossing. If you really meant GS then the answers in terms of the GS being entered at the nth crossing are: 1. 2311 2. 2312 3. 2213 4. 2314 5. 2415 6. 2615 7. 2714
150Gavin RogersM10005648 2311 2312 2213 2314 2415 2615 2714 2 2909 6 RC1-RC7 - I've answered with the GS you are in after the (n)th crossing of a GL. RC8 - including 1 at end to join the Green before reaching SH173

156Robert OwenM9021736 23 23 23 23 24 27 28 1 2909 6 Damn it. Just realised that there's another Y>G at the finish(SH173), thus making 2. Any chance of leniency???
159Mark AspinwallE5001826 2311 2312 2213 2314 2415      I assumed that GL(n) would refer to the nth grid square that you entered as you crossed a grid line for the nth time.

166Peter SmithM8250818 23 23 23 23 24 27 13 2 0929 6 Interesting to see answer to this one. Maybe I'm missing something, but cannot make this work unless there is a small error. Can make it work in two ways if there is an error which would give an alternative answer of 28 for RC4

181Janet RobbinsN5004825 23 23 23 23 24      I find it impossible to answer the questions in line with the instructions given (i.e. (n) if any of the above notations ..... your answer should refer to the Grid Square (GS) in which the nth occurrence of the feature appears. It is only possible to answere with a specific grid line and not a grid square

235Alan CrabtreeM1008524 2311 2312 2213 2314 2415 2615 2714 2 2909 6 I stupidly started this only an hour before I was due to leave to go to a football match, and then got confused as to which GS to quote - the one just left or the one just entering. Happily, Gavin Rogers was good enough to give me the reasoning for quoting the GS being entered, but regrettably I lost several hours attending my other favourite occupation. (At least Norwich won and made my journey worthwhile!!!!)
