Championship.
HENSMAN'S CROWNED CHAMPION
The 1993/94 National Table Top Championship season has brought another new winner to the rostrum. COLIN HENSMAN's second place on the final round - CSMA Ipswich Group's CULTIVATOR was sufficient to take the shield to
St Albans.
The '92/93 Champion - ROGER LINTOTT - will, no doubt, be sorry to let it go and was in with a chance of retaining the title but would have had to finish at least three places higher than Colin to
do so.
MARTIN REA has captured runner-up spot for the second consecutive year with ROGER LINTOTT taking third, these two being split on the tie break rule.
Fourth place goes to BRIDGET LEWIS after a consistent season, fifth to MALCOLM PRICE, sixth to HOWARD SIMPSON, seventh to TED MANKTELOW, eighth to RALPH SANDERS, ninth to JEFF SMITH and tenth to PETER HARBORD.
The new loyalty award has been won by DON CLARKE with JOHN BOOTHER and JOHN PERTHEN runners-up.
Congratulations to all award winners, cheques and trophies will be despatched separately in a few weeks time. The full Championship table is produced alongside which also includes contenders' '92/93 finishing position. Remember, that competitors gaining a result from four events have had their highest score ignored to arrive at the counting total.
To conclude, this Bulletin will be sent to all CULTIVATOR entrants and others included in the final table. All others on the mailing list will be sent a copy when the coming season's Championship Regulations are sent out.
