NELLY

Promoted by CSMA (North East London Group) now in its 19th year - with the same organising team!  The ‘Question & Answer’ format continues on map 193 Taunton which will be supplied by the organisers.  FULL - qualifying for the Championship - and the MINOR for the inexperienced and those wishing to learn.  Extensive list of awards and cash.  Choice of sections to be attempted to ease the pressure.  Regs. Available early September from Brian Bishop, 17, Postwood Green, Hertford Heath, Herts, SG13 7QJ.  Entries close 5th October, event runs from 12th October until 9th November allowing for a break for THE RALLY! 

GUNPOWDER PLOT

The Gunpowder Plot is back!  It’s been so long that we can’t remember but “about 20 years” ago the GPP evolved from the American “ST Valentine’s Day Massacre” Rally and others have been copying (and improving) our format ever since.  The GPP will run on map 163(B2) between 30th November ‘99 and 6th January ‘00 (extra time being allowed for possible postal delay in the New year.  We will follow the Q & A format with Championship entrants (the Masterminds) being allowed 2 “passes” and other entrants 8 “passes”.  Regulations will be available in late September from Rally Navigation Services, Old Cottage, Moss Side Lane, Stalmine, POULTON-le-FYLDE, Lancs FY6 0LP or Tel:(01253) 70-20-30.  Finally, we guarantee that no computer Knowledge is required!

CULTIVATOR

The CSMA Ipswich Group's Cultivator Table Top Rally, now in its 23rd year, will continue with its question and answer format.  You have to complete 18 of the 20 sections.  For competitors new to<  table tops, we will be running our Beginners event.  This year  the event will run from 8th February until 8th March 2000, on  OS map 155 Edition C, (Bury St Sudbury & Edmunds, Stowmarket). Regs. will be available after Christmas,  from, Bob Thomas, 1, St Mary's Close, Trimley St Mary,  Felixstowe, IP11 0TY.

PATHFINDER

The Pathfinder Table Top Rally promoted by Cheltenham Motor Club will run from 3rd April until 1st May, 2000.  The event will consist of 20 sections, all of which should be attempted and competitors will return the supplied map for marking.  The route will be plotted on the provided latest issue of OS map 189 (Ashford & Romney Marsh). We can promise a few of our favourite sections from the past years, together with a few new ideas that we have.
