NELLY

Promoted by CSMA (North East London Group) now in its 20th year - with the same organising team!  The ‘Question & Answer’ format continues on map 188 Maidstone & The Weld which will be supplied by the organisers.  FULL - qualifying for the Championship - and the MINOR for the inexperienced and those wishing to learn.  Extensive list of awards and cash.  Choice of sections to be attempted to ease the pressure.  Regs. Available early September from Brian Bishop, 17, Postwood Green, Hertford Heath, Herts, SG13 7QJ.  Entries close 17th October, event runs from 24th October until 21st November allowing for a break for THE RALLY!

GUNPOWDER PLOT

The Gunpowder Plot is back! It’s been so long that we can’t remember but “about 20 years” ago the GPP evolved from the American “St Valentine’s Day Massacre” Rally and others have been copying (and improving) our format ever since.  The GPP will run on map 138(B) between 30th November ‘00 and 6th January ‘01 (extra time being allowed for possible postal delay in the New year.  We will follow the Q & A format with Championship entrants (the Masterminds) being allowed 2 “passes” and other entrants 8 “passes”.  Regulations will be available in late September from Rally Navigation Services, Old Hall Cottage, Moss Side Lane, Stalmine, POULTON-le-FYLDE, Lancs FY6 0LP or Tel:(01253) 70-20-30. Finally, we guarantee that no computer Knowledge is required!

CULTIVATOR

The CSMA Ipswich Group's Cultivator Table Top Rally, now in its 24th year, will continue with its question and answer format.  You have to complete 18 of the 20 sections.  For competitors new to  table tops, we will be running our Beginners event.  This year  the event will run from 7th February until 7th March 2001, on  OS map 155 Edition C, (Bury St Sudbury & Edmunds, Stowmarket). Regs. will be available after Christmas,  from, Bob Thomas, 1, St Mary's Close, Trimley St Mary,  Felixstowe, IP11 0TY.

PATHFINDER

Cheltenham Motor Club's Pathfinder Table Top Rally will once again be organised by Ewan Hopes & Phil Robbins. This event will run from 31st March 2001 to 30th April 2001.  The event will continue with the same format for the experienced competitor as per last year,  20 sections all to count towards the overall award.  There will be a new class this year for the less experienced competitor where only 15 sections will count. Please note however, this new class will not qualify for Championship points. All competitors will compete on Map 163 (latest edition) to be supplied by the organisers and the maps are to be returned for marking.
