Internet Table-Top Rally Championship 2004-2005 |

Just a comment to say thanks for once again producing a great brain
teaser - or rather four of them to while away the dreary winter nights.
I liked the Forum idea, and agree that with a bit of tarting up it could
work well. Although I didn't actively participate this time, I did enjoy
seeing others, and could well join in on any future occasion. It was
interesting to see that others give you an even harder time than I do!
(Especially Sarah T who seems to be after your job already!) Enjoyed this event tremendously even though I have had no computer
for the last 2 weeks due to a telephone line down. Have had to go to the
local library to keep up to date every now and then, and even to post my
answers! I thought some of the routes very inventive, however one or two
a bit ambiguous especially Language Lessons Part 1. A clever use of
roads though in many sections. If you blinked you could have missed it!
I spent a big chunk of my life trying desperately to do Spot Frights as
it was at number 3. Glad I wasn't the only one baffled. I say carry on
trying to beat us all Crow and Well Done! This was the least stressful so far, managed to complete it with a
day to spare. Are you going to handicap Gavin by a week next time to
give the rest of us a chance, coming back off holiday to find that he
had already registered another full score with weeks to spare makes the
heart sink a bit, but well done Gavin again. I found the forum was a bit
disjointed compared with the old updates sheet, but it was good to find
out instantly others were struggling with the same sections and the odd
pointer that I was totally on the wrong track was gratefully received.
All in all a very good and enjoyable event to end the Championships on. Many thanks again for some ingenious route setting as before I shall
be interested to see the solutions to the ones I haven't been able to
crack. Hope you will carry on next season. Many thanks again for a great TT. In the unlikely event of me winning
anything and if you don't already have the prizes, I'd be happy for you
to send the money for my prize to charity. Thanks again. Many thanks for taking the time to organise 4 great events which produced a lot
of head scratching over the winter months. They were really enjoyable. I am aware
of all the hard work which goes into organising an event and must say that the time
and effort you put into it is very much appreciated. |
