There seemed to be two areas that
caught you out here, which affected answers 4 and 6.
RC4) SH3 = 108. Quite a few of you answered 139, which probably means that
in GS2323 you approached Red Ho from the South and went up the white,
which picked up an extra SH 116. The route marked on the solution was a
shorter alternative which bypassed that SH.

The grid lines were coded by
subtracting their numbers e.g. GL26 = 2-6 = -4, GL28 = 2-8 = -6 etc.
RC6) Y>W = 7. Many of you gave an answer of 8. I'm guessing that in GS
2725 you took the white to cross GL 28 when in fact the shortest route was
to stay on the yellow and take the third exit on the roundabout. Or is
there another Y>W that I've missed? I'm sure you'll let me know.
RC7) The last two letters of Windlestone crossed the road near the end of
the route, but in which order? Too difficult to tell so both sequences
accepted. Some soul searching regarding whether the last m of Home Fm
broke the edge of the road. Looking very closely with magnification there
may be a tiny dink in the black edge of the road, so answers with and
without allowed.
