The instruction for part 2 'in sequence when plotted' is a bit obscure. Did you mean start from plot 1 or start from plot 5,which is nearest to the section start, and then to finish at plot 4 which is the shorter route. Both are in sequence so technicaly correct. This I found to be a very difficult section to fathom and then to be faced with this question is a bit dubious. Due to the difficulty of the section this ahould have been made a bit clearer as both routes are correct to the instuctions.

150Gavin RogersM801753 e,p,s,m,w,t,a 4 2 4 7 4 5 5 4 3 Part 1 - I think shortest route is using White from 178124.5, White from 198127.5 and White from 17181748 to last plot. This gives me RC1 - e,p, from Gawthorpe, s, then m,w, from Cowmes and t,a from Kirkheaton. RC3 - T at 179126.5 is dead on 200m from the White I've used so I've included it. RC4 - 4 including the one leading to the last plot. RC5 - 4 in first complex of Whites, 2 on next Whites and 1 near to second plot. Part 2 - Shortest route I measured to be NW 168154.75 SE using the Whites both sides and joining the Yellow in between 2 gradient arrows just before the second plot. So I have RC7 - 5 and RC9 - 4

156Robert OwenM5231230 p,e,s,m,w,t,a 4 1 4 7 ? ? ? ? ? General: Have taken first white off yellow in GS1712. White under 'o' of Shorthes Hall taken as NTR. T in same GS just over 200m away. Route based on through road under church with tower in GS1717 approaching from the south. Q1: Don't reckon 't' or 'r' of Highburton touch the route.

GENERAL I have assumed that the Masters section starts with the first digit of the first plot being in the first code and the first digit of the second plot being in the second code, etc. so that the given map reference is the fifth plot.

211Iain TullieM801173 e,p,s,m,w,t,a 4 1 4 7 4 6 7 2 3 RC1 - hard to tell whether e or p should be first. r in 1913 not counted (would be before e,p). Shortest route in 1712 very close. My route just stays 200m away from the T. Other route would mean RC3=2, RC5=5. RC8 - last crossing only just before finish but counted.
233Dee Rampling LeeE501815 e,p,s,m,w,t,a 4 1 4 7      Q1. The lowercase letters tr of Highburton do not break the line. It is a road junction that causes the line to be broken. I have listed "ep" rather than "pe" of Grawthorpe as the "e" breaks the line on the road before the "p" from the junction of the crossroads. I have pout the "ta" of Kirkheaton the same way round and not "at" for the same reason. Q2. Found at 19351105, 18601150, 19501620, 18751655 Q3. Only one found at 19101355 not the one at 17851265 as I find that one just over 200m by maybe a few paces on foot! Q4. Found at 17751255, 20351375, 18901720, 17151745 Q5. I have not included the junction of 18151270 the white leading down to Boothroyd Wood as it appears to be a no goer. Found my WWW at 17851240, 17901235, 17951250, 18051250, 19901320, 20151325, 20051385.

235Alan CrabtreeM505829 p,e,s,m,w,t,a 4 2 4 7 - - - - - Well, it's 21:30 on the last day, and after a really concentrated effort to get at least 10 RC's attempted, my brain has atrophied, and I have failed. I cannot get my head round decoding the GR's for Part 2, but only hit a mental block, so I'll go with the answers I have for Part 1 and go for some well earned rest. At least I maxed out on the first half, and icresed my score by 5!!
