RC1. Disregarded Yellow and Green NTRs in GS0074 and GS0181 and counted junctions as both GGY. Also counted junction in GS9881 as GGY and NOT a X road.
RC3. Quite a few letters may or may not touch. Such as second letter in my answer, "l". Also may be a "h" between "c" and "m" in the answer. | 115 | Geoff Masterman | E | 2 | 0 | 0 | 51 | 9 | 6 | e,n,t,b,r,m,r,u | 6 | 11 | 34 | | | | | | | 119 | Martin Moore | E | 2 | 0 | 0 | 23 | 43 | 7 | Gavin | 8 | 10 | 44 | | | | | | RC1 - staggered X-roads in GS9781, / 9881 = 2 junctions | 122 | Steve Turnbull | E | 5 | 0 | 1 | 4 | 24 | 6 | Gavin | 8 | 11 | 35 | | | | | | | 126 | Steve Barber | M | 9 | 0 | 1 | 48 | 18 | 6 | e,l,n,t,b,r,h,c,r,m,o,r,t,u,l | 8 | 11 | 35 | 11 | o,t,m,e,k,a,F,H | 9,2,9,8 | 4 | 4 | Map quality not really good enough to tell if first SH encountered is a 36 on not. The only thing I can think is that I see things in a different way to you. I'm sure my route is correct again - there are so many little indicators that tell you it's correct - and yet I have 4 errors. The counting is difficult, because there are so many marginal decisions.
Issues are as follows:-
rc1 - I have counted the "staggered crossroad" at GR98008185 as two GGY junctions, as the yellows are not directly opposite to each other.
rc2 - does a letter touch/break the line of a road or not. I zoom in to huge magnifications to check these, but even then there are a few dodgy ones. My complete list would be e,(l?),n,t,(r?),b,r,r,c,(h?),m,o,r,t,u,l. I discarded the dodgy ones - l, r and h because to me there is still a space between the letter and the edge line of the road when on 800x zoom and the picture is pixilated.
rc5 - this was awfu. I don't even think there are 8 SH's in the route! My list was (36),25,(44),(37),26,17,36,34,(35). Taking these in order, (36) has no spot in the road, and therefore does not count; 25 counts, (44) has two spots close to it, one of which is on the route, and the other just off; (37) has no spot close to it, though there is a mark at the junction 300 metres to the North of the number - i see this as a Gate; 26,17,36,and 34 all have a spot close by; and (35) has a spot in the junction, but it is debatable whether it is on the route or in the junction just off it. Of the 9 SH's featured along the route, therefore, only 5 are clear-cut. The first and last are both dodgy, so which do I put in as SH8? I chose to drop the first (36), as it clearly has no spot, which left me with 35 as the eighth, but thanswer could equally logically have been 34 or nothing at all!
rc7 - as in rc2, I had two instances of letters which could be taken by one person as touching, but by another as not. The "n" and the "s" of Euston Park come before and after "o,t", but they clearly do not touch the edge line under 800x zoom, so I have not listed them. | 236 | Kevin Nugent | N | 0 | 0 | 0 | 23 | 55 | Replace with Answer 1 | Replace with Answer 2 | Replace with Answer 3 | Replace with Answer 4 | Replace with Answer 5 | | | | | | | 242 | David Killeen | M | 2 | 0 | 23 | 4 | 4 | 1 | e,t,r,b,l,r,c,m | 5 | 8 | 35 | 11 | o,t,a,k,t | 9,2,9 | 3 | 4 | | 243 | Julian Challis | N | 2 | 0 | 0 | 25 | 35 | 6 | e,n,t,b,r,c,u,r,u | 7 | 9 | 35 | | | | | | | 254 | Steve Bubb | E | 5 | 0 | 0 | 23 | 1 | 6 | Gavin | 8 | 11 | 35 | | | | | | | 265 | Chris Bean | N | 5 | 0 | 0 | 54 | 23 | 6 | Gavin | 8 | 11 | 35 | | | | | | I wanted to clarify my answer for #2, as many letters seem close to overlapping but there were numerous close calls.

RC5) I can only find 7 SH's on route unless you count SH36 in GS9978. Very difficult to see dots on road even if enlarged on screen.
Not sure how to interpret some of the LWR's - one wasn't necessary I think. Got to be some luck involved!
