The two routes look about the same distance. This would give alternative to RC1=4, RC3=5.
Also not sure if R counts in RC6 so alternative answer for RC6=H,H,H,F.

Q3: includes blue T in GS6605 (handset in GS6604)
General: My Part 2 solution is based on the assumption that the dot of SH3 in GS5906?(which I can't find, even using streetmap.co.uk) is not on the chosen route. SH1 just to the north of the '3' is definitely on the white to the east of the yellow road. | 157 | Paul Hardy | N | 3 | 0 | 0 | 31 | 42 | 3 | 2 | 6 | 2 | 6105 | | | | | | | 165 | Mike Burrows | M | 6 | 0 | 0 | 49 | 50 | 3 | 2 | 5 | 2 | 6105 | H,R,H | 3 | 1 | 6 | 5612 | Q6 There is a break in the road edge (unfenced) where the top left of "W" is near in "West Head", which if to be included would change my answer to W,H,R,H. However I don't think it touches the road. | 166 | Peter Smith | M | 8 | 18 | 10 | 47 | 35 | 4 | 4 | 6 | 4 | 6105 | H,F | 3 | 2 | 7 | 5505 | RC6 LETTERS - not included the 'R' in 5911, Letter does not break road, the white space possibly marginally breaks the road edge. My understanding from Crow in previous rallies is that in this case these can either be included or not included - leniency will be shown. Have opted not to include as closer to not breaking than breaking. | 171 | Richard Lomax | N | 3 | 0 | 0 | 14 | 5 | 4 | 4 | 5 | 4 | 6105 | | | | | | | 173 | Peter Robertson | M | 8 | 0 | 1 | 41 | 57 | 3 | 4 | 6 | 4 | 6105 | R,H,F,H | 2 | 3 | 5 | 5508 | | 189 | Peter Davies | E | 4 | 3 | 2 | 47 | 43 | 3 | 3 | 6 | 4 | 6105 | | | | | | | 190 | Glynn Hayward | M | 8 | 0 | 0 | 32 | 53 | 2 | 4 | 6 | 4 | 6105 | R,H,F | 2 | 2 | 7 | 5505 | | 196 | Alan Large | E | 3 | 0 | 0 | 23 | 42 | 3 | 2 | 6 | 2 | 6105 | | | | | | | 201 | Mark Dunkerley | N | 0 | 0 | 0 | 24 | 14 | 4 | 3 | 8 | 5 | 6603 | | | | | | | 205 | Tim Hassall | E | 4 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 15 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 4 | 6105 | | | | | | | 209 | Phillip King | E | 3 | 0 | 0 | 27 | 22 | 2 | 3 | 5 | 4 | 6105 | | | | | | | 211 | Iain Tullie | M | 10 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 39 | 2 | 4 | 7 | 4 | 6105 | R,H,F,H | 3 | 2 | 7 | 5505 | Second attempt to submit answers for this RC, not sure if problem at my end or yours?

I don't have access to any measuring equipment more technical than a ruler, and I can think of no better way to measure twisting roads than by marking the edge of a thin piece of paper at each turn all the way along each alternative route, and then comparing the results. We may differ in what is the shortest route, and this may affect the answers to several rc's. Other than that - no comment. | 236 | Kevin Nugent | N | 2 | 0 | 0 | 17 | 56 | 4 | 2 | 4 | 4 | 6105 | | | | | | | 242 | David Killeen | M | 8 | 0 | 9 | 22 | 25 | 4 | 4 | 8 | 4 | 6105 | H,F,H | 3 | 2 | 6 | 5505 | | 243 | Julian Challis | N | 3 | 0 | 0 | 18 | 29 | 3 | 1 | 6 | 2 | 6105 | | | | | | | 247 | David Keetley | E | 2 | 0 | 18 | 44 | 24 | 3 | 1 | 7 | 2 | 6211 | | | | | | | 254 | Steve Bubb | E | 3 | 0 | 0 | 14 | 54 | 2 | 3 | 7 | 4 | 6210 | | | | | | | 265 | Chris Bean | N | 2 | 0 | 0 | 22 | 35 | 3 | 1 | 8 | 2 | 6105 | | | | | | | 268 | Jonathan Forrest | N | 1 | 0 | 0 | 14 | 31 | 2 | 2 | 5 | 2 | 6504 | | | | | | | 269 | Chris Towers | M | 9 | 0 | 2 | 41 | 46 | 2 | 4 | 6 | 4 | 6105 | HRHF | 3 | 1 | 6 | 5612 | | 272 | Nigel Parish | E | 5 | 0 | 0 | 59 | 16 | 2 | 4 | 6 | 4 | 6105 | | | | | | | 275 | Francis Tindall | M | 7 | 0 | 1 | 28 | 59 | 4 | 4 | 5 | 4 | 6105 | R,H,F | 3 | 3 | 6 | 5508 | I seem to be god at getting 7's!!!
