Route Card 8 - Count On It

Part 1 (Masters, Experts and Novices)

The lowermost GL is 12. The leftmost GL is 11.

At each junction, (on this Route Card no-through roads can make a junction for navigation only - not for counting) count the number of possible and route legal (you can't take a road which would lead to roads already used and beware at roundabouts) departure roads.

Finish at the last plot on the B651.

I'm afraid I wasn't fully consistent on this Route Card regarding treating blocked roads to roads already used. The solution below shows the possible road colours as capitals (the first capital being the colour of the road taken) and the lowercase blocked roads. Where there were mistakes the corrections are shown in square brackets. Despite this many found the correct route.
