Those of you who have competed in previous ITTR championships are no doubt grateful for the introduction of Autop(i)lot - no more counting churches, telephones, green circles and bridges. I am sure you miss studying the map with a magnifying glass to check if letters 'cut' the road or not ...
This route card revisits those dark ages. Previously, you had to answer route check questions to prove your route (as well as your eyesight and counting) was correct. Below, you are given the questions and answers - you have to plot the shortest route that satisfies all the criteria.

You can view regulation 24 of the 2010 regulations on the ITTR website, to help you understand the route check questions.

Ch+ = 14
T = 16
"Ironworks" = Y
RD = 7
SH* = 237,233,82,51,48,18,99,189,207,198,165,142,99,79,128,208,138,214,194,163
^ = 9
GL52 = 7
GN* = 6,0,0,1,0,3,0,0,6,8,0,2,0
GS-E = 6105
Letters* = ar,e?,t?,m,Po,H?,om,y,W,le,B?,ro,Bog,m?o,W,atb

The route should be plotted using Autop(i)lot.

Route Card Commentary
The best way to tackle this was to plot a route which took in the listed spot heights, grid numbers and letters, then adjust it to meet the other seven criteria. Many of you incorrectly counted two RD's in GS 5405 - the first one does not COMPLETELY cover the full width of the road, so does not count (one of the reasons I directed you to the 2010 regulations - see version 1.5 dated 27th May 2010). Therefore you had to take in the "Hudnall's" loop near the start to get the 7th RD. This in turn meant you picked up an extra ^ so had to avoid the one in 5003.
