Postal Championship 1998/1999 Regulations |

1. Promotion CSMA NE London Group, Eastern Counties Motor Club Ltd., CSMA Ipswich Group and Cheltenham Motor Club, will promote a National Table Top Rally Championship during 1998/99. The series will be sponsored by Rally Navigation Services. 2. Events The Championship will consist of four table top rallies - one from each organising club. The Championship organisers reserve the right to introduce additional events to the Championship, or reduce the number of events in the Championship, or to cancel the Championship should the situation demand. 3. Eligibility Membership of a motor club is not essential. The Championship will be for one category only, i.e. those taking part in the major competition of any event. 4. Registration Registration is automatic once an entry has been submitted and accepted by an organising club. There will no registration fee as such, but entry fees may be adjusted slightly to reflect this. 5. Scoring Points will be awarded on each event consistent with entrant's overall position - i.e. 1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points...100th place = 100 points. The overall winner of the Championship will be the contender with the lowest number of points from three rounds. Contenders completing less than three rounds will not qualify for final Championship placings. In event of the number of Championship rounds being increased or reduced, the organisers reserve the right to amend the number of qualifying rounds to count accordingly. 6. Ties Ties will be resolved in favour of the contender with the number of lowest scores, then next lowest and so on. Any remaining ties will be resolved on the basis of 'furthest cleanest' relating to the contender's first event of the season. 7. Awards At the end of the competitive season individual awards will be presented as follows:- 1st 2nd 3rd 4th - 10th Loyalty Awards (Non-award winners in '96/97, '97/98 & '98/99

Championship Stewards The Secretary of the event for each organising club (or their nominee) will adjudicate if so required. |
