The gang of dedicated four joined in battle again, and this time "Chick"
(ex-Christine Grover) has emerged as the victor. It was very close though; Steve
Barber matched the winner on the selection of Rally Kit Cards and
almost move for move, but a technical fault cost him an extra minute. Alan
Edwards took third. The results will become final if no comments
are forthcoming in the next week.
The route was deliberately tougher and this was reflected in the penalties. The change of selection order to Hazard! Cards, eliminated their use completely - maybe I ought to ease this for the East Laver Rally ... ... that's if you want an East Laver Rally. It's a shade demoralising this end that so few are competing, but at least the organisational volume is significantly less than the Navigational Championship. I am willing to see it through if you are, though Mitch Fielding might drop out - see Competitors' Comments. Let me know your thoughts "Crow" January 1, 2005 |
