The Panglossian Rally results are now final. The stats at the close were 231 entries, 188 paid to compete and 109 were classified as finishers, 28 less than TNFP Rally but a gradual decline is always expected and Christmas did get in the way. Two clean at the top and decided by furthest cleanest. Podium winners were: Overall Winner: Nigel Parish 1st Master: Nigel Parish, 2nd Master: Bart den Hartog, 3rd Master: Keith Cunningham. 1st Expert: Andrew Green, 2nd Expert: Monica Dowson, 3rd Expert: Keith Irvin. 1st Novice: Kevin Goodings, 2nd Novice: Frances Irvin, 3rd Novice: Marcus Duyzend. So, given no one can be awarded more than one event medal, the prizes will be presented to: 1st Master: Nigel Parish, 2nd Master: Keith Cunningham, 3rd Master: Peter Rushforth. 1st Expert: Andrew Green, 2nd Expert: Monica Dowson, 3rd Expert: Grantley Cleaver. 1st Novice: Kevin Goodings, 2nd Novice: Kelvin Phipps, 3rd Novice: Worth Birkill. There are simple medals for the class awards and a copy of Panglossian will be presented to the overall winner. Marcus Duyzend wins the Canada Trophy for the best Expert/Novice performance on Route Card 4. Your feedback during the event was invaluable and has led to some major changes in the format for the Schoolfrenz Rally. Full details were covered in Bulletin 27. I think you'll find they'll make the Schoolfrenz the best event so far. All source documents have been updated so you should read Bulletin 27, Marking a Route, Regulations and Q&A.
