Bulletin 5 - June 10, 2018 RC0 - Bob BlackstovkRC1 - Alex Hoult RC2 - Keith Irvin RC3 - Simon Lytton RC4 - Ewan Leeming RC5 - Andrew Green RC6 - Phil Robbins RC7 - Keith Cunningham RC8 - David Irwin RC9 - Monica Dowson RC10 - Ian Canavan RC11 - Peter Rushforth RC12 - Geoff Masterman "Crow" @ 11:50 Bulletin 4 - June 10, 2018 There are two new Crowless Rally forums: The Crowless 1 results are now Final. Congratulations to Steve Barber as winner, and podiumees Nigel Parish and Ian Canavan. Keith Irvin was a notable 4th with clean sheets but for taking a couple of hints. No awards this time round but hopefully everyone has satisfaction from taking part and contributing to raising over £700 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The master routes and the setters commentaries are in place except for RC1. I'll update the World Ranking tables shortly. See you at the end of July. "Crow" @ 11:50 Bulletin 3 - June 02, 2018 I believe I have resolved all known queries, so the results are declared provisional. I'm off to York for a few days, so if you have any gripes, corrections, disputes or praise(?) then I will examine when I get back and hope to declare the results as final about a week today. You have access to the master routes and the setters commentaries are in place except for RC1, RC8, RC9 and RC12. Provisional congratulations to Steve Barber who may be recording his first win since the Crimbo Relief Rally in 2008. The event wasn't quite Crowless since I had to step in for two scheduled setters who went AWOL. But I did manage to focus some of my leisure time on other things including my neglected partner, Anne. However, I do have some significant TTR developments in progress which will, I hope, knock your socks or stockings off when they are made available, probably after the Crowless 2 Rally. Sincere thanks to my 11 co-organisers; now they know the amount of work involved and how demoralising it can be when an occasional error is discovered! I hope they will join me again in a couple of months. Have a good summer break, and don't get too depressed when England fail to get out of Group G in the World Cup. ;-) Bulletin 4 soon with the final Crowless 1 summary, then I'll be quiet until the end of July. "Crow" @ 22:00 Bulletin 2 - May 08, 2018 A big THANK YOU to the 65 paid entrants. "Crow" @ 16:20 Bulletin 1 - April 20, 2018 A week to go until the practice route card is available. Sadly Crowless has become a bit of misnomer since three volunteers have let me down. Maybe the events should be called the Crowsome Rallies? I will be setting the route cards originally allocated to David Irwin and Bart den Hartog; and Simon Lytton has stepped in to cover for Richard Baty. The running order of authors is now: RC0 - Geoff Masterman Keith Cunningham has had a mini-nightmare with two sections of his orignal routes inaccessible because of current roadworks. Yes, Google is pretty up-to-date. A reminder that you will be able to tackle the route cards in any order. I've tested a few of them; some easy, some hard. Take your pick and take your time. Note the number of "ReDos". You have a whole month to complete. "Crow" @ 19:00 |
