The annual Internet Table-Top Championship, sponsored by the HRCR, will run from September to November 2022, a bit later than expected as your webmaster has been catching up with other activities.

The usual four events, each with 8 legs. All the legs have been designed by well-known volunteer setters, namely: Lyn Gale, Monica Dowson, Glynn Hayward, Phil Robbins, Peter Rushforth, Andrew Green, Roger Ashmead, Henry Carr, Bob Blackstock, David Bell, Robert Owen, Iain Tullie, Nikki Baker and Alex Hoult, who will contribute to your autumn fun on the maps.

The events will run from 1) September 9-25, 2) September 30 - October 16, 3) October 21 - November 6, and 4) November 11-27 - a four times cycle of 16 days plotting, 5 days rest. The best 7 scores from 8 will count.

The format of events is up to the volunteers: Plotting or Real-Time, OS maps or other maps, although to satisfy most competitors most of the time, the majority will be Plotting on OS maps. Initial route cards will be Master-tricky, but low penalty hints will be available to downgrade them to Expert, Novice and Beginner level.

As always the "Entry Fee" is by means of a self-certified charitable donation; this time a minimum of £25 to your favourite charity to add to the £35,000 donated by TTR since 2004. I'm also asking for a £3 "Admin Fee" to be transferred to the TTR bank account to offset routing and hosting fees.

Any surplus from the admin fee will be added to the HRCR's generous support and permit Championship class and overall awards.

The event will be class based, where classes have been automatically calculated based upon the past performances.

Keep active. Keep safe.
